The sun is still shining for ground mounted solar projects (blog post)

The window of opportunity for ground mounted solar energy development is still open to farmers and landowners in the UK particularly in the South West. Following reductions in both the Government’s Feed-in-Tariffs (FITs) and Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs) payments, many would-be developers have mistakenly believed solar farms are no longer viable, but we are keen to ensure landowners are aware that positive returns will still be generated.

Report it! line extended to clients to improve safety and quality performance (blog post)

In January 2013, we introduced a 24 hour, 7 days a week reporting line – Report it! Employees and subcontractors working for JPCS can report accidents, non-conformances, and near hits, as well as complaints received from third parties, all across the UK, and in real time. The aim of the initiative was to increase right first time, as well as improve outcomes in safety and quality across the company. We are now pleased to extend the initiative to our clients, to continue to generate improvements in these areas, which are key priorities within our business.

How JPCS directors are leading from the front on safety and quality (blog post)

Keeping our employees, partners and the public safe, whilst delivering the highest quality service is our number one priority. Safety and quality are two key areas of focus for JPCS in 2013 and beyond and so as directors, one of the ways in which we’re taking a proactive approach to improve in these areas, is by leading from the front and embarking on a regular site inspection programme.
