Vehicle Restraint Systems
The vehicle restraint systems team deliver all aspects of vehicle restraint systems from repairs following road traffic accidents, to replacement and construction as part of new road developments.
When a vehicle restraint system (VRS) is damaged as a result of a road traffic accident we are able to undertake a condition survey the VRS and advise what repairs are required. We are able to respond to emergency vehicle restraint system repairs or undertake planned repairs or replacement.
We install a range crash barriers and containment systems approved for use on the highways including end terminals and barrier guards and are fully trained in the various types of vehicle safety systems. This includes the old type open box beam and tension corrugated systems to the new restraint systems including Flexbeam, Vetex, crash cushions and all types of the new containments. Our crash barriers meet the required containment performance class and working widths.
We are fully equipped with specialist plant machinery and ensure high-quality installation with ultimate safety and convenience for road users. Staff are trained to the National Highways Sector Scheme 2b supply and erection of vehiclesafety systems to Lantra standard, and our services provide plans and drawings including a maintenance plan for the tensioning two year cycle, risk assessments and method statements.
“Please pass on my thanks to your excellent workforce.”
