National highways maintenance company JPCS has been re-awarded CHAS accreditation, following a thorough assessment of its safety processes and standards.
CHAS is the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme, dedicated to completing health and safety pre-qualification assessments to a nationally recognised and accepted threshold standard.
The achievement complements the company’s Occupational Health and Safety Systems (OHSAS 18001) accreditation. OHSAS 18001 accreditation has only been achieved by 1% of businesses in the UK and JPCS were the first SME to hold this certificate in the UK back in 2002.
JPCS Managing Director Peter Shone, said:
“At JPCS health and safety always comes first. We are committed to keeping our employees, suppliers, customers and the general public safe at all times. We are really proud to have been re-awarded our CHAS accreditation yet another year running, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to safe working practices.”
JPCS is the leading environmental highways maintenance company in the UK, delivering maintenance solutions through innovative products and processes. JPCS aims to deliver a broad range of services which are recognised by the highest standards of quality, value and safety.
