Giving Back

We strongly believe in giving something back to the communities we work in. Our vision – we create the difference to sustain the environment – drives a culture and behaviour that is focussed on people and sustainable communities.

We have developed effective strategies to ensure our activities contribute positively to the protection of the environment, community sustainability, social inclusion, and safeguarding our employees, as well as encouraging innovation and ensuring our contracts deliver meaningful value by providing a platform that will encourage ongoing investment.

Charity of the year

We are proud to support the communities in which we work and each year undertake fundraising events to raise money for a chosen charity. We operate a “Charity of the Year” programme, whereby one charity is chosen annually by our clients and employees from a shortlist of organisations that are relevant to our sector and whose work benefits the communities we work in.

Last year, we were proud to raise over £6000 for Whizz-Kidz, a charity that provides provides disabled children with essential wheelchairs and mobility equipment to enable them to lead fun and active childhoods.

In 2010, we were proud to raise over £1500 for Macmillan Cancer Support charity and we are currently considering nominations for our 2012/13 charity.
