Traffic signs and road markings

With deep knowledge of road signs and markings, we offer a comprehensive highway sign design consultancy service covering the full life-cycle of assets. Our services include:

• Inventory audits – asset evaluation, hazard identification, passive safety assessment, de-cluttering
• Data collection – condition surveys, GPS and ID tagging, photometric readings, bespoke asset management
• Highway sign design consultancy – specification, scheme design, negotiation and approvals, drawings, estimating and bills of quantities.

Our data collection capability can be tailored to the management of a wide range of assets. In consultation with each of our clients, we develop a bespoke survey template to ensure we collect data on all relevant asset attributes. We then present data in an agreed format, along with GPS co-ordinates and photographic records for each asset. This is ideally suited to establishing an initial inventory, identifying defects, or for condition surveys. We also provide our clients with secure and independent access to a proprietary web-based system, where client asset data can be stored and managed.

With extensive installation experience of illuminated and non-illuminated highway signs in a wide range of highways environments, we are able to develop and deliver optimised schemes that have high passive safety characteristics, lower maintenance costs and make for a less cluttered and more attractive roadway.
