  What may be going on

Every site has a different specification with the client.  We have detailed below the most usual parts of the process to assist residents in their understanding of the process

Weedkilling may be due or already have been carried out

Jetwashing or cleaning

Lifting of ironwork

Cutting back of undergrowth (please ensure any overhanging vegetation is off the footway)

Taping up of kerbs or ironwork

Laying of materials

Sweeping/picking tape up off covers/general cleaning up

These may be done in stages so please do not worry if there is a small lapse in time between any part of the process.

How long will it be before it needs replacing

The effectiveness of any treatment will be affected by such factors such as the existing condition of the footway, the location, how much it is used and the weather!  This process causes minimum disruption to residents, demonstrates good Engineering practice and represents excellent value for money.
