We are about to commence footway works in your locality.  We will  endeavour to be of as little inconvenience as possible and your co-operation would be much appreciated whilst we are undertaking the works.

The process will involve spreading the surface with a black wet mixture utilising squeegees and brushes.  The material will remain wet for an hour or so, (water comes to the surface   as part of the drying process and may give the material a wet appearance for longer), depending on weather conditions.  We would ask you to avoid walking on it until the   material has been down for at least two hours.  The longer it is left the better.  Our workmen will be happy to assist if you need to cross before it is dry.

If you have any overhanging vegetation we would be most grateful if it could be cut back or tied back in order that surfacing can be carried out.
