EFQM - Our Excellence Programme

JPCS is recognised for Excellence through independent assessment against the 2010 EFQM Excellence model. Our 4 star rating demonstrates our continued commitment to achieving our Vision and Values.

 

BBA

Rejuvoflex footways microasphalt and Rejuvophalt carriageways microasphalt. JPCS is the first and only contractor with BBA certificates for hand applied footway maintenance and carriageway maintenance microasphalts.

 

 

Investor in People

JPCS is one of the first highway maintenance and civil engineering companies in the UK to be IIP accredited.  We have been successfully re-awarded IIP status four times, most recently in 2009.

 

ISO 9001

We inspect each site to ensure we can design the Best Whole Life Cost Advantage treatment. We work with each client to assess individual perferences and site requirements, "engineering with engineers" to deliver best value.

 

ISO 14001

The ISO14001 award certifies our commitment to sustainability through our environmental management systems.  We are continually assessing products that minimise our environmental impact and help to reduce our carbon footprint.

 

OHSAS 18001 ISO 18001 Certificate

This award certifies that JPCS's Occupational Health and Safety Systems meet the requirements of OHSAS 18001 and are registered within the BM TRADA Certification Scheme for approved Occupational Health and Safety. JPCS are the first SME holding this accreditation in the UK.

 

Constructionline

JPCS are registered with Constructionline, meeting the pre-qualification requirements appropriate to public and private sector procurement.

 

CHAS

JPCS hold upto date Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS)

accreditation, having demonstrated compliance with health and safety legislation. 

 

National Highways Sector Schemes

Sector Scheme 8
JPCS are also a registered organisation under sector scheme 8 for the installation of non illuminated signs. Our site operatives and management team are registered as individuals with full portfolios of evidence demonstrating an unrivalled level of competence in our field.

JPCS Surfacing Solutions have been accredited to National Highway Sector Scheme 13b. The Sector Scheme has been developed in partnership with the highways industry to interpret the international quality management standard as it applies for the supply and application of microsurfacing. Gaining this accreditation further demonstrates JPCS’s commitment to developing our people and reassuring our clients, you can “rely on us” to provide a quality product. 

Sector Scheme 2b, 12a, 12b, and 12d

Our Vehicle Restraint System (VRS) and Traffic Management (TM) unit is accredited to approach to Sector Scheme 2b (VRS), and 12a, 12b, and 12d (TM) for the installation, maintenance and removal of temporary traffic management on rural and urban roads, enabling us to deliver stand alone traffic management or an integrated service as part of larger highways projects.
