18 years of accreditation for JPCS

National civil engineering contractor JPCS has been re-awarded ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 for the next three years, following a recent audit.

The thorough assessment included a three day audit of policies, processes and standards, as well as site visits. The audit identified no non-conformances.

The auditors said: “The Business Management system, as audited, was
effectively implemented and maintained. Additional system management resource has
been appointed. Site operations were well managed with excellent commitment and
competence demonstrated by all personnel.”

JPCS’ Managing Director Peter Shone, said:

“I am really pleased with our continuing accreditation for our integrated management systems, spanning over 18 years, and with the feedback from the auditors. JPCS first achieved ISO 9001 for Quality Assurance back in 1994, less than year after the business was set up. Environmental Management came in 2000 and Health & Safety Management in 2002, before we embarked on our EFQM journey at the end of 2006.

“We have always used accreditation programmes to develop the business in a practical, value-adding way – not as fashionable add-ons – which means we have a highly progressive and deeply embedded continuous improvement ethos.”
