Health and safety accreditation for JPCS

National highways maintenance company JPCS has been re-awarded CHAS accreditation, following a thorough assessment of its safety processes and standards.

CHAS is the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme, dedicated to completing health and safety pre-qualification assessments to a nationally recognised and accepted threshold standard.

The achievement complements the company’s Occupational Health and Safety Systems (OHSAS 18001) accreditation. OHSAS 18001 accreditation has only been achieved by 1% of businesses in the UK and JPCS were the first SME to hold this certificate in the UK back in 2002.
